Shopian 09 March : Musaib Malik, a 17 year old boy from Shopain Kashmir has written a self-help book that is aimed at helping people discover internal peace, fight suicidal tendencies, discover true happiness and cut out the negativity thrown by the society.
Musaib Malik is one of the youngest humanitarian from Jammu and Kashmir, India. He has been a victim of depression from early childhood and tried every mean to help himself. From witnessing suicidal tendencies to boldly fight against the depression and mental health issues, Musaib Malik wrote a book, not only to help himself but the society.
The book will be launched by 20th of March 2021. The aim of the book is to guide the people towards a better path of happiness and peace.
In the words of the young author, “ I have encountered depression from a very close end, I have witnessed hopelessness but I gave my best to come out of this thing. It wasn’t enough for me, as I met a good friend and later came to know that she is also depressed and slowly I discovered that majority of the people that I hang out with are depressed. So I wanted to help everyone. This motivated me to write a self-help book that will help all the individuals who are dealing with depression and have hard time finding happiness”
Musaib Malik is a budding author, he has followed his humanitarian interests from a very early age. From teaching kids at orphanage and remote place to conducting massive awareness events under volunteers organisations, Musaib is very keen and motivated to help the society at large
