Srinagar, Mar 11: With the aim to encourage the meritorious girl who secured 490 marks in 12th class, the premier institute of Ganderbal Qamriya Model Higher Secondary Educational Institute Salora, run by a trust, felicitated Tabid-ul-Nisa with a cash award of Rs 10,000 and a gold medal.
Tabid-ul-Nisa belongs to a poor family and her father is working as a teacher in a private school.
Former Chief Secretary and Chairman Qamriya trust Sheikh Ghulam Rasool besides other members and teaching staff were present on the occasion.
The members of the trust while speaking on the occasion said that they are committed to provide the best education and produce brilliant students from the institute.
