New Delhi, Mar, 06: DRDO recruitment 2022 is being conduced for a junior research fellow vacancy at one of the centres of the Defence Reserach and Development Organisation’s centre in Delhi called the Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS). The centre is equipped with facilities to conduct human studies, animal and in-vitro experimentation with an interdisciplinary approach. Postgraduates can apply for the JRF under a project titled “Characterizing milk colostrum of Ladakhi cows and yak for identification of biomolecules with therapeutic potential”. Those selected will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 31,000. The position is temporary, and selected candidates will be engaged for 24 months.
Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2022?
The latest DRDO recruitment notification says that there is a junior research fellow vacancy for candidates with a degree in life sciences, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, biotechnology, biophysics, molecular biology, zoology, bioinformatics, or genetics with first division, wherever division or equivalent grading. It would also be preferable for candidates to have working experience in the field of neurobiology, molecular biology, NGS data analysis, proteomics or bioinformatics. A GATE or NET (LS) qualification is desirable as well, adds the notification.
Candidates also need to take a look at the following important points:
- Only those candidates who have been awarded degree or provisional certificate are eligible to apply.
- The offer of fellowship will under no circumstances confer on the candidates any right for absorption in DRDO or PhD registration.
