Presided over at a function at EKLAVYA Model residential school Tangmarg
Kulgam, July, 05: The Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir & Ladakh, Justice N. Kotishwar Singh today visited D.H.Pora in Kulgam district, where he along with Administrative Judge for Kulgam district, Justice Sanjay Dhar Inaugurated Lawyers’ Chambers at D.H. Pora Munsif Court Complex and the facility is expected to enhance the working conditions for legal professionals and improve the efficiency of justice delivery.
The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, P&SJ,Parvaiz Ahmad,SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal were also present during the Inaugural ceremony.
During his visit the Cheif Justice also interacted with members of the Bar Association D.H. Pora.
Addressing on the occasion he highlighted the crucial role of lawyers in the justice delivery system and encouraged them to continue their dedicated service to the community.
Later he visited EKLAVYA Model Residential School. At Tangmarg and presided a function organized by the school.
Speaking on the occasion the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan briefed him on the school’s functioning and the facilities available to students.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Justice urged the students to make the best use of their time and the facilities provided to them. He emphasized the importance of education and encouraged the students to strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
The Chief Justice also handed over an authorization letter for an additional development grant of Rs. 5 crore for the school.
Multiple colorful programmes presented by the students, showcasing their talents and cultural heritage were also presented.
