Kupwara, Oct, 14: An interaction program with retired police officers of the district was held today at the District Police Lines (DPL) Kupwara. The event witnessed the participation of around 75 retired police officers, reflecting a strong bond between the District Police and its retired personnel.
The program was presided over by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kupwara, Mr. G. M. Bhat, along with Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Headquarters, Mr. Mohammed Rafee Rather. During the event, Mr. Ghulam Mohammad Zargar, Vice President of the Retired Police Officials Association, expressed his gratitude to the District Police Kupwara for their consistent support and encouragement. He also extended thanks to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kupwara for the prompt resolution of grievances raised by the retired officers.
Several other retired officers, including Mr. Farooq Ahmad, Mr. Ab Ahad Dar, and Mr. Nazir Ahmad, took the opportunity to highlight key issues concerning the welfare of retired police officials. These matters were noted by ASP Kupwara, who assured that all concerns would be addressed, with particular focus on enhancing the well-being and interests of retired personnel.
ASP Kupwara further emphasized that the services and contributions of retired police officers would never be overlooked, assuring the gathering that their concerns would remain a top priority for the District Police.
The interaction program concluded with a renewed sense of camaraderie and mutual respect between the District Police and its retired officers, reaffirming the commitment to supporting and valuing their long-standing contributions to the police force.
