Srinagar, July 12, Taking strong note of public grievances raised today on social media regarding the substandard macadamization on Chijhama-Tragpora Road, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Surinder Choudhary directed immediate action.
Acting swiftly on the matter, the concerned Junior Engineer, Mr. Riyaz Ahmad Bhat, has been placed under suspension with immediate effect. Additionally, a formal notice has been issued to the executing vendor, M/S Rafiq Construction, seeking an explanation and remedial action.
The Government reiterates its commitment to ensuring accountability, transparency, and quality in all public works. No compromise will be tolerated when it comes to the use of public funds and the delivery of essential infrastructure to citizens.
