Srinagar, July 16: The annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Ropi Rishi Sahib (RA) was celebrated with great devotion and respect in Old Habba Kadal, with thousands of visitors attending the event. During this occasion, an important ceremony was held, where the book titled “Life of Hazrat Ropi Rishi Sahib (RA)” by Maulana Sohail Raza Qadri was officially launched.
Throughout the Urs, the recitation of various supplications and the remembrance of Allah continued from early morning, including the sending of blessings and peace (Durud) upon the Prophet (PBUH) and other acts of worship. In the afternoon, the blessed ceremony of the Milad (birth celebration) of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was conducted, with the participation of prominent personalities from the region.
During the book launch, Maulana Sohail Raza Qadri highlighted the life and services of Hazrat Ropi Rishi Sahib (RA). This book offers a comprehensive introduction to his teachings and spiritual blessings.
Mufti Mubarak Hussain Naumani, Allama Shaukat Hussain King, and other esteemed scholars participated in the Milad ceremony. Imam and Khateeb of the Bagh-e-Aliya delivered a powerful speech, discussing the spirituality, teachings, and invaluable services of Hazrat Ropi Rishi Sahib (RA) for the Muslim community.
At the conclusion of the Urs celebrations, all attendees prayed for the spiritual blessings of Hazrat Ropi Rishi Sahib (RA) and pledged to adopt his teachings in their lives. The successful completion of this event deepened the love and respect for Hazrat Ropi Rishi Sahib (RA) in the hearts of all participants.
