Srinagar – Janata Dal United (JDU) State President Shri G.M. Shaheen held a meeting with Mr. Amitava Chatterjee, Managing Director of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, to discuss the ongoing support and services provided by the bank’s ATM guards.
Shri Shaheen expressed his appreciation for the dedicated hard work and commitment demonstrated by Jammu and Kashmir Bank in serving the public during challenging times. He specifically appealed to the Managing Director to consider continuing the employment of thousands of ATM guards associated with the bank. These guards are the sole breadwinners for their families, and their continued employment is crucial for their livelihood.
The JDU President also lauded the overall efforts and performance of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, recognizing it as a vital institution in the region’s financial ecosystem.
Accompanying Shri Shaheen were Shri Amjad Razvi, Youth President Jammu and Kashmir, and Shri Aijaz Maqbool, State Secretary from Sopore.
