JE Among Two KPDCL Officials Caught Taking Bribe in Srinagar: ACB

Srinagar, Sep 17, : The Central Kashmir wing of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday caught two officials of the KPDCL Electric Division Panthachowk red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹50,000.

Officials informed Kashmir Dot Com that the duo was caught at Sempora on the outskirts of Srinagar. The accused were later identified as Junior Engineer Shaiq Sultan and Section Officer Mohammad Yousef Dar.

Both have been taken into custody and the bribe amount seized in the presence of an independent witness after completing all legal formalities, while further investigation is underway, officials said. (KDC)
