Saringar , Sep 25: Doon School Srinagar, under the aegis of the Wilmort Foundation Netherlands, held a press conference today to announce the opening of its first international branch in Dubai. Chairman Showket Khan while speaking during the press conference said that “This milestone has been made possible by the collective efforts of our parents, students, and the people of Kashmir. Khan said. Dubai will be our very first branch. We have no other branches in India, and Doon School is not affiliated with any franchise.
While responding to the questions about opening of first branch in Dubai Khan said that Our decision to open the first branch in Dubai reflects Doon School Srinagar’s global vision. Dubai is an international hub that connects Asia, Europe, and Africa, giving our students and teachers access to a truly diverse learning environment. This step doesn’t replace our Srinagar campus—it strengthens it by creating student-exchange opportunities and bringing world-class practices back home to Kashmir. The new branch will create student-exchange programs so learners in Srinagar gain true global exposure without needing to move far from home and students from Dubai campus will get opportunity to visit Kashmir the paradise on earth and indirectly become brand ambassadors of Kashmir India in their own countries.
Khan further added that Doon School Srinagar has no other branch in any part of the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir and country. Doon simply means ‘valley,’ and merely using the name does not make a school part of Doon School Srinagar. Khan said that our first and only branch is opening in Dubai. I urge parents to verify facts and I request the media to help inform the public.

While responding to questions on future expansion khan said that “Dubai marks our first international step! More branches may follow, but always with the same promise: world-class education and true global standards and future expansions will uphold Doon School Srinagar’s legacy of quality and innovation.

Mr Kambli the principal of Doon School Srinagar also officially clarified and set the record straight :Doon School Srinagar has no other branches in India or J&K, the statement backed by Chairman Showket Khan and Mr Kambli highlighted the achievements of the school in field of education, sports, artificial intelligence. Mr Kambli while speaking to media said that for more than a decade, Doon School Srinagar has provided high-quality education, gaining international recognition. The worthy chairman Showket Khan has been honoured by multiple governments, including Sri Lanka and Maldives, and has addressed the Norwegian Parliament. The school’s strong alumni network is making a mark across the globe.
Students expressed excitement about the upcoming student-exchange opportunities between the Srinagar and Dubai campuses.
