Srinagar, Oct 7: The Chairman of Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) Srinagar, Mohammed Yusuf Wani was honoured with the prestigious Fakhr-E-Taleem Lifetime Achievement Award-2025 by the Federation of Private Schools and Associations of Punjab (FAP) for his outstanding contribution to the field of education spanning over three decades.
The award ceremony, co-organised by the Private Schools Association Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) and the Federation of Private Schools and Associations of Punjab (FAP), was held at Hotel Countryside, Srinagar.
The event was graced by several distinguished dignitaries including Farooq Ahmed Shah MLA Tangmarg, advisor to J&K chief minister Nasir Aslam Wani, senior advocate Zafar Ahmad Shah, Dr. Jagjit Singh President of FAP and G N Var president PSAJK
Instituted by FAP, a non-profit organisation that has been revolutionising India’s educational landscape since its inception in 2019, the Fakhr-E-Taleem award honours visionary leaders who have made transformative contributions to education.
As per the school handout issued here, Wani’s recognition stands as a testament to his visionary leadership, dedication to educational excellence, and over 30 years of service in nurturing generations of learners.
Under his guidance, GVEI has grown into one of Jammu and Kashmir’s leading institutions, known for its academic excellence, moral values, and holistic development of students.
