Pune, September 28: Capacity building and educational tour of 20 Kashmiri girl students visited National Defence Academy (NDA), Pune. The visit, part of the Indian Army’s initiative, provided the students with firsthand exposure to India’s premier defence training institute.
During their visit, the girl students interacted with lady cadets and women officers, gaining insights into the rigorous training, discipline, and values instilled at the academy. The cadets shared their experiences as part of the historic first co-ed batches at NDA, inspiring the young visitors for careers in the armed forces.
The tour aimed to empower young girl students from Kashmir, broaden their horizons, and foster a deeper sense of national unity and patriotism.
