A 17-year-old boy has “inadvertently” crossed the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and his family issued an appeal on Monday to Pakistani authorities to release him.
Family of the teenager who studies in tenth standard told GNS Mohammad Shabir of Mandhar’s Kaaiyan village crossed the LoC.
The family said that a missing report has been filed in police Station Poonch. “We request authorities to release our son,” Mohammad Bashir, father of the teenager told GNS.
SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral told GNS that the matter has been taken up with the higher authorities.GNS
