Anantnag : 14 Jan 2021: To mark the Veterans day coupled with consistent endeavour of the Bn to reach out to the Veterans, a Veterans meet was organised at Ranipura Bn HQ 18 RR. A total of of 74 veterans attended the same.
The event commenced with the the welcome address by Cdr 2 sector who thanked the veterans for their service to the nation and their praiseworthy virtues which have been ingrained in us by our veterans.
Various gifts for felicitating the veterans were distributed as a token of our gratitude.
Veterans were pleased with this initiative of the Army to stay in constant touch with them and making their suggestions count. The event concluded with refreshments and informal interaction between the veterans and the serving community.
