Srinagar, Jan 25 : Jammu and Kashmir on Monday reported 64 positive of Covid-19 taking the tally of positive cases to 124,083 in J&K, however, no death was reported in UT in the last 24-hours.

Of the exact number of 124,083 cases, 72,637 are from Kashmir and 51,446 from Jammu division. Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that among 64 new cases, 39 belong to Kashmir division while as 25 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 72,637 including 70,755 recoveries and 1,210 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 51,446 including 50,315 recoveries and 719 deaths.

The officials said that total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,084 including 672 from Kashmir division and 412 from Jammu division.

With 83 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 121,070 which is 97.58 percent of the total cases.

“Cases tested positive in J&K include 22 from Srinagar, 01 from Baramulla, 01 from Budgam, 07 from Pulwama, 03 from Kupwara, 01 from Anantnag, 00 from Bandipora, 03 from Ganderbal, 00 from Kulgam and 01 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 25 from Jammu division include 23 from Jammu, 01 from Udhampur, 00 from Rajouri, 00 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 00 from Poonch, 01 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.

As per officials figures, 26,040 positive cases including 453 deaths and 25,320 recoveries are from Srinagar, 8,085 including 173 deaths and 7,862 recoveries are from Baramulla, 7,752 including 7,582 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Budgam, 5,700 including 5,552 recoveries and 88 deaths are from Pulwama, 5,645 including 95 deaths and 5,552 recoveries are from Kupwara, 4,879 including 4,746 recoveries and 84 deaths are from Anantnag, 4,687 cases including 4,603 and 61 deaths are from Bandipora, 4,597 including 4,483 recoveries and 46 deaths are from Ganderbal, 2,689 including 2,605 recoveries and 54 deaths are from Kulgam and 2,563 including 2,491 recoveries and 39 deaths are from Shopian.

In Jammu division, 24,889 including 24,257 recoveries and 370 deaths are from Jammu district, 4,195 including 4,114 recoveries and 57 deaths are from Udhampur, 3,867 including 3,807 recoveries and 55 deaths are from Rajouri, 3,428 including 3,361 recoveries and 64 deaths are from Doda, 3,253 including 3,197 recoveries and 51 deaths are from Kathua, 2,826 including 2,711 recoveries and 40 deaths are from Samba, 2,731 including 2,707 recoveries and 22 deaths are from Kishtwar, 2,489 including 2,435 recoveries and 24 deaths are from Poonch, 2,131 including 2,108 recoveries and 21 deaths are from Ramban and 1,637 including 1,618 recoveries and 15 deaths are from Reasi.

As per the daily information bulletin 1,083,719 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 34,933 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,084 persons are in isolation.

According to the bulletin, 950,822 persons have completed surveillance period and 94,951 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 4,421,013 samples are available.

Out of 4,421,013 the number of samples tested negative stands at 4,296,930 while as 124,083 have tested positive, among them 1,084 persons are active, 121,070 persons have recovered and 1,929 persons have died—(KNO)
