Pattan, 27 Jan :During the harsh days of winter and inclement weather predictions the road at main market goushbugh pattan of North’s Baramulla district becomes slippery and full of water which made difficult for commuters especially students whole day to travel.
A local residents sahil ahmad told that the road is in worst condition from last year at main market goushbugh and has turned into muddy, they said and added that the Government has failed to take any initiative for the maintenance of the road to ease the sufferings of common people .
From last year the road at around 50 meters remains full of water and turned into cesspools and when the rainy water remains stagnant for a long time, It further damages the road,” said rayees ahmad a local resident to .
While showing concern over the deplorable condition of the road, the local residents have appealed to the higher authorities to initiate construction of the road or to construct drainage aside the road at an earliest.
