In pursuance to provide a platform to learn something different from academics and nurture hidden talents from the young minds, four workshops are being conducted by Sopore Rashtriya Rifles for the students of Sopore region at Army Goodwill School , Sopore. The aim of these workshops is to assist students in day-to-day life as well as to develop hobbies for their future endeavours.

These Four workshops includes Med Aid for Home Emergencies, Children Psychology, Communication and Writing skills and Art of Photography, Video Making & Editing. The initiative kick started on 18 Jan and will continue till 14 Feb 2021. Instructors from in and around Sopore are being hired to teach the young and enthusiastic students of Sopore region.

Workshops are being organised in two batches which includes students of 9th & 10th standards in one Batch & students of 6th, 7th & 8th standards in another Batch. A total of approx 100 students are regularly attending these workshops.

During the first week, workshop on Children Psychology was conducted for the students of 9th & 10th standards with an aim to make them aware about the day to day Psychological challenges faced by the students and how to overcome the same. Further, workshops on Med Aid for Home emergencies were conducted for students of 6th, 7th & 8th standards with an aim to make them capable to provide basic med aid during any home emergencies.

Students are very appreciative of the efforts of Indian Army for organising these workshops which is equipping them with some special skill sets.
