SRINAGAR, Government forces on Thursday early Morning started a cordon and search operation in Pinjora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
As per reports reaching Roshan Kashmir, joint team of security forces that includes 44 Rastriya Rifles of Indian Army, CRPF of paramilitary forces and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police started conducting a searches in Pinjora village of Shopian early this Morning after they got inputs about presence of some militants in the area.
Police sources while confirming the operation said that searches were launched in the area after they got inputs about presence of some militants.
Reports further said that security forces have blocked all entries and exits to the area and search operation was conducted house-by-house.
