As a concrete step towards realising the vision of providing better platforms to the women and children of valley and a continuation to the various Goodwill initiatives being carried out by Army in the Sopore , an A WORKSHOP ON ART was organised at Army Goodwill School, Mazbug and A WORKSHOP ON WOMEN EMPOWERMENT was conducted at SHAH-I-HAMDAN CENTRE FOR EDUCATION by Sopore Rashtriya Rifles in collaboration with ROUBLE NAGI ART FOUNDATION. The workshop was steered by Ms Rouble Nagi, a well known artist and alumni of Slade School of Fine Arts, London (UK), to provide an opportunity to children to learn creative art from experts and ignite a positive passion towards art in their hearts and minds. A total of 60 Enthusiastic Children of Sopore Region attended the workshop on Art at AGS,Sopore.
Subsequently, a MOTIVATIONAL TALK was delivered by Ms Nagi the founder of the Misaal Mumbai, during a workshop conducted for young girls and women. During the talk she emphasized on providing exposure and guidance to youth to select the right path and goal towards a progressive future. She aimed on providing quality education and to make sure that all children should be educated that will make them a caring, responsible and productive citizen of our Country.
The interactive session was attended by around 65 girls and women from Sopore Town and nearby areas. The interaction drew in a lot of enthusiastic participation and questions from the participants. A sense of positivity and desire to do something positive was evident in the attendees. At the end a video was flashed to the gathering to motive them and to make them believe that we can change the world by our imagination.
