Dooru ,February 6:- Anantnag police continuing its war against Social evils and arrested one Drug Peddler.
A Naka was established at Guchan Sheikh Pora in Dooru Anantnag where police party of Police Station Dooru led by SHO Dooru Syed Nazir Andrabi under the supervision of DSP and close supervision of intercepted a person who was roaming in suspicious manner. During his personal search, officers present were able to recover 20 grams of Heroin like substance and 20 grams of Charas from his possession.
The identity of the Drug Peddler has been ascertained as Abdul Qayoom Shah S/O Mohd Shaban Shah R/O Guchan Sheikh Pora He was arrested on spot and in this regard. Case FIR No.3/2021 U/S 8/20 & 8/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Dooru and further investigation has been taken up.
Anantnag Police warns that whosoever found indulging in antisocial activity will be dealt strictly as per law.
