Kulgam : February 07, 2021;
District Police Kulgam continuing its systematic efforts against social crimes; arrested two more Drug Peddlers and recovered 10 Bottles of Chlorpheniramine Melate & Codeine Phosphate also an amount of rupees 3200.
During patrolling at Village Kharpora, a Naka was established and surprise checking was conducted by a Police party of District Police Kulgam led by I/C PP Frisal Sub Inspector Farhat Hussain, two persons moving in suspicious circumstances were intercepted and going through checking of these suspects 10 bottles containing 100 ml of banned drug (Welcyrex Syrup) Chlorpheniramine Melate and Codeine Phosphate also amount of rupees 3200 was recovered from their possession whose identity has been ascertained as:-
- Ghulam Mohd War S/O Ghulam Hassan War R/O Arwani Bijebhara &
- Waseem Ahmad Tantray S/O Ghulam Ahmad Tantray R/O Kujjar Frisal who were arrested on spot and psychotropic substance was seized.
In this connection case FIR No.06/2021 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Yaripora and investigation taken up.
