Says explosion would have been similar to Pulwama in 2019
Jammu, Feb 14: The Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) recovered from a boy at Jammu bus stand would have exploded in fifteen minutes after activation.
Talking to the media person after press conference, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu zone, Mukesh Singh as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the arrested boy carrying IED was given directions from across to activate it by connecting wires.
“It would have taken fifteen minutes for IED to explode after activation,” IGP said.
When asked about the entire plot of being a Pulwama-II, IGP confirmed that the nature and intensity of explosion would have been like that of Pulwama explosion on this day in 2019.
Giving details of recovery of more IEDs in Samba, IGP said that fifteen such devices have been recovered in Samba, which are similar to that of one recovered in Doda recently and these IEDs also cause a powerful explosion—(KNO)
