A meeting of working journalists was held today at Budget accomodation Kokernag in South Kashmirs Anantnag district.
Meeting was chaired by Peerzada Muzaffar,( Gulistan new) besides this various members including Rayees Wani (Bureau Chief UT Network 10) Shah Hilal (Jk Update), Rouf Rather (Jk Khabar Now),Sheikh Nadeem (Roshan Kashmir/ P 24), Beigh Fayaz (Waadi Kashmir) Raja Rasif (The Kokernag News),Shaan Shahid ( QNS News),Khursheed Gull (AB Star News), Rather Hilal (News insider)Tariq Mir (Cameraman Gulistan) Ishfaq Wagay (Kashmir Thunder)both from print and electronic media were present there.
During this meeting various members put forth their suggestions about how to work under one banner i,e framed Committe.
“We have united ourselves with the Committe, but there are some mischievous people who are blackmailing various agencies by posing themselves as journalists, said members.
They said that, need of the hour is to highlight the public grievances and raise every issues which are concerned with the general public, adding that there is no space for black sheep’s/miscreants who are creating problems for other fellow beings, however the law enforcing agencies should dealt strictly and must take stern action against them.
Later on Members decided and have elected Peerzada Muzaffar as (President) Rayees wani Vice President of the Committe.
Meanwhile Peerzada Muzaffar gave patient hearing to the grievances which were raised by the members of association.
While addressing the members of media fraternity, president highlighted the role of media in society.
