Srinagar, : A 48-year-old on duty Block Development Officer (BDO) of Rural Development Department suddenly died on Friday in Gurez valley of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official told KDC that a government employee identified as Abdul Saleem Darzi, a resident of south Kashmir’s Anantnag, who was posted as BDO Tulail fell unconscious on ground in his office on Friday afternoon.
He said the BDO was immediately rushed to sub-district hospital Gurez where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
BMO Gurez, Tahira Bano said that the medico-legal formalities of the deceased is being conducted adding that the cause of sudden death is being asserted.
