Indian Armys 55 Rashtriya Rifles Panzgam COB in Collobration with Varnaaz Technologies Conduct Mobile Planetaruim awareness Camp for School Children.
The aim of the organising such events is to bring the wonders of cosmos closer home to the younger population of South Kashmir and generate an aptitude for science amongst the school children.
Mobile planetarium show titled as Taare Zameen Par ‘ was organized for students of various schools from South Kashmir was at Panzgom by 55 RR(GRENADIERS).
The event received overwhelming response from the schools with students attending the shows in massive numbers.The event was organized by Indian Army in association with Varnaaz Technologies Bangalore. Students from 12 different schools attended the 9 shows.In this event 532 paricipated include 51 teachers 286 Boys and 195 Girl students.
Colonel Tom Sebastain and Company Commander Major Khim Singh while addressing with particitants told Such events Strength Cordination between army and awan and amongst the students on Indian Army, Know Your Army display was also organized as part of the event. The children were given an expose on armed forces to pique their interest and consider Army as a career prospect.
Conolel Said Childrens should have to participate in such events and can explore urselves in every field.
Later on Refreshments were catered for all the participants. The students and faculty enjoyed the day of fun and learning and expressed their gratitude to Indian Army for providing them with this unique opportunity.
