A Non Governmental Organisation Vision Kashmir in collobaration with Muncipal Commitee irrigation Department Achabal on Thrusday organised a sanitation drive with focus on cleaning and preserving water bodies in particular and ecology of the area.
During the drive stream, lanes and drains in the town were cleaned.
Chairman Vision kashmir Shabir ahmad appeal locals maintaining clean sustainable environment and called for active participation of all.
Municipal Commitee and irrigation Deptt. Achabal also directed the citizens to work in cooperation and ensure cleanliness in every corner of the Town.
During the drive many shopkeepers and members of civil society of the area put forth their demands related to dumping of garbage.
