Srinagar, Mar 06: After winning many prestigious awards, a research scholar from Ganderbal has once again made Kashmir proud by receiving ‘Her Ka Hunar’ women achiever award.
Mir Muskan un Nisa, a research scholar of SKUAST Kashmir has added one more feather to her crown by winning the award in education. She has won many prestigious awards earlier as well.
Muskan while talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)- said that Her Ka Hunar award is an initiative to encourage women in different fields like handicraft, science, art, innovation, culture and education. She has won this award in education category.
Muskan said over 35,000 nomination forms were received this award from across India.
“I was clueless that they were contemplating me for this prize. It comes as a full surprise,” she said.
“By the grace of Almighty, one more time I have made whole Kashmir proud and I am so happy and honoured that my efforts are being recognised,” Muskan said.
Muskan dedicated her award to people of Kashmir especially parents, relatives and SKUAST Kashmir for the overwhelming support throughout her carrier.
The award function was held in Delhi in which various famous personalities participated besides that the function was attended by Rattan Lal Khataria Minister for social justice and empowerment, she said.
“The aim of my life is to work for the welfare of the society,” she said.
Last year Muskan bagged “Her Rising Award 2020” in the women starters category and was declared the winner in India’s largest carrier fair for women as well—(KNO)
