Qazigund, July 02: The security forces on Friday claimed to have recovered a bag with arms and ammunition in an open field of popular trees at Akhran area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that based on a specific input a joint team 9 RR and Police recovered a bag with arms and ammunition at Hanjipora Akhran late last night in an open field of popular trees.
The officer while sharing details of recoveries said 01 AK-47 magazine, 48 AK-47 rounds, 01 pistol, 02 pistol magazines, 04 hand grenades, 01 Chinese grenade and battery with wire were recovered.
Meanwhile, officials said that police have registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard—(KNO)
