Achabal, July, 20: DDC member Achabal Sameena Hussain Suharwardy extended warm greetings to the people on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha. In his message of felicitations on the eve of this auspicious occasion, She said: “Eid gives us the message of love, unity and brotherhood. Extending help to the poor and needy will also usher happiness in their lives. In view of COVID-19 pandemic, I appeal to the people to observe this festival with utmost caution and abide by the social and health protocols of COVID-19 so as to stem the spread of this deadly disease.”
She urges people to obey the guidelines and I also urge people to celebrate Eid with the simplecity. I extended my warm greetings to people of UT Jammu and Kashmir.
She also said the holy occasion teaches us to maintain high principles of selfless service to the Almighty Allah and humanity and expressed hope that this Eid will strengthen communal brotherhood, harmony and bring peace, prosperity and well-being to UT Jammu and Kashmir and the people all over the world.
