Budgam: A minor boy died on Sunday after he drowned to death in a stream at Wagoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
An official told that a minor boy identified as Faizan Ashraf (6), son of Muhammad Ashraf Sheikh, a resident of Wagoora Chadoora drowned into a stream when he was taking bath.
He said that the boy was shifted to a nearby hospital from where he was shifted to Srinagar hospital however after reaching SMHS in Srinagar he was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
The body was handed over to his relatives for his burial after completing necessary medico formalities, he added.
