Anantnag, Aug, 25: Sumo drivers in Kokranag today staged a peaceful protest on the premises of the SDM office demanding their legitimate demands. The drivers said that they had appealed to the SDM Kokernag to provide them land for Sumo stand so that they do not have any problem. SDM Kokranag Jahangir Ahmed and Municipal Committee Kokranag assured the drivers that they would be provided land for a stand where sheds and other facilities should be available for the drivers. Which will be overseen by the Kokernag Municipal Committee itself.
They again Appeal to SDM Kokernag look into the matter and solve the genuine demand at an earliest.
