Anantnag, Aug 31: One person was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Achabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday evening.
Reports reaching to GNS said that a man was killed and two others injured after a Venue vehicle (JK03K- 6600) turned turtle and fell into a deep gorge at Achabal near police station.
They said that the injured was immediately rushed to nearby hospital.
A police official identified the deceased as Riyaz Ahmad Mir Son of Abdul Ahad Mir of Gopal Khurd Anantnag.
He said that a case under relevant sections of laws has been registered in concerned police station and further investigation taken up. (GNS)
