Sopore, Sep 5, KNT: The dead body of a National Conference Panch was recovered by locals in a field in Ladoora village of Rafiabad Sopore this morning.
Locals informed police after the body was found and subsequently after completion of all medico-legal formalities body was handed over to the family.
Police in this regard have registered a case and set investigation into motion. The cause of death is being ascertained.
The deceased Panch has been identified as Mehrajuddin Mir son of Muhammad Amin Mir.
