In a bid to provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents, the Indian Army’s 55RR organized a Indoor cheese & carrom tournament in Panzgam of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Fifty students from various Schools of the Pulwama villages participated in this tournament.
The students who participated lauded this initiative of the Indian Army which will help enhance their skills and said that such tournaments must be held regularly so that students from remote areas of Kashmir Valley get chances to show off their talents.
The parents and the school staff were happy with the holding of the tournament.
Official in army’s 55RR told reporters that “Indian Army is instrumental in engaging the youth and awaam in this difficult time and reassuring them of Army’s continued support in every sphere of their lives which will ultimately boost the bonhomie between the Army and local Awaam”
