Residents of iqbal Colony Dooru area of Anantnag district are reeling under darkness for 3 weeks due to damage to transformer feeding the colony
Residents stage protest near town hall dooru against power development department and blocked road for few hours. Residents said the transformer developed continous snag from last three weeks irk iqbal colony residents.
3 weeks on, the transformer is yet to be repaired. In absence of power we face immense problems. We were assured by authorities many times that problem will be solved.but nothing was done on ground level.we took on road due to negligence of department and failing to provide us electricity.
Meanwhile Station Officer dooru along his team reached on spot and assured we will forward your genuine demand to authorities for immediate redressal and clear road for vehicular movement
