In digital era poor people living in farflung and remote areas still lacks basic facilities provided by Central as well Union Territory Government.

A Heart wrenching story of helplessness where poor Husband and wife living their life with lot of difficulties.

This is the story of disabled and helpless poor couple who are deprived from comforts of life.

The family hasn’t got any benefit from any scheme launched by the government and as per them no official has ever visited there to help disable Husand and wife due to which they haven’t got any benefit and still waiting for house sanctioned under PMAY and SBM toilet till date.

Even locals said that they have brought this issue in notice of concerned authorities several times but no attention was provided towards them.

Locals said that there is a need to pay attention towards the helpless couple and provide benefit of central schemes.

Razkang a remote village in Larnoo area of south kashmirs Anantnag district about 50 kilometers far from district headquarters lacks basic facilities.

Governor adminstration claims that they organise outrage programmes for beneficial of rural people but on grass root level poorer people are deprived from such schemes.

Booba Khan Son of Sain Khan hails from razkang village in district Anantnag.

Crippled duo Booba Khan and his wife zaitoon Banoo living in a tin shed still awaits for PMAY Scheme and SBM toilet.

Booba Khan is unable to do anything and it is very difficult for him to meet two needs

As on humanitrian basis villagers provide basic facilities to help both in surviving day to day lif but they want to know why both have been kept deprived of schemes provided to handicapped persons by government.

Booba khan along with locals have appealed LG government and district adminstration to approve central sponsored schemes like PMAY shed and Swachta Bharat Mission Flash point to the family so that they won’t face problem in coming due to chilly season .

Political workers visit the area for the purpose of vote bank and on ground level they fail to provide any relief at individual Or collective level.

We thanked to media persons shah hilal and Sheikh Nadeem who reached here and took up our issues with higher ups, locals said.

It is pertinent to mention that village lacks basic facilities including proper health care, clean drinking water and proper road connectivity.

Residents of the area said that the lack of basic facilities is taking a heavy toll on the lives of people.

Inhabitants of the villages in this hilly area while expressing anguish over the dilapidated condition of road said that the authorities have turned a blind eye towards their issues.
