Anantnag: A 20-year-old boy was critically injured after a wild bear attacked him in Lisser top area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday afternoon.
Reports said a wild bear appeared near an orchard in Lisser top area of Dooru tehsil here at around 5 :30 pm on thursday and attacked the boy, identified as Sadam Kham son of Mohd Yousuf Khan a resident of Lowermunda Qazigund, injuring him critically.
The injured was shifted to Model Hospital Dooru for advanced treatment where doctors referred him GMC Anantnag for further treament.
Reports said that the boy went for recieve a flock of sheep but on way he was attacked and seriously injured by Wild bear.Meanwhile Locals heard the crowd rushed towards spot and save him.
Locals have appealed to adminstration and concerned Department sent a team to the area to lay a cage and capture the bear.
