Verinag, Oct 11: An unidentified militant was killed and a policeman suffered injuries in an encounter that broke out between militants and security forces at Khagund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.
Police sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that one militant has been killed, and a cop got injured saying that identification of both is being ascertained. The operation is going on in the area, they said.
