Police facilitates police-public interaction meetings in Pulwama

Pulwama, October 12: As a part of public outreach program, Police in Pulwama facilitated two police-public interaction meetings (PCPG) at PS Rajpora and PS Litter. The meetings were held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.

In PS Rajpora, the meeting was chaired by DySP Hqrs Shri Mohd Shafi-JKPS accompanied by SHO PS Rajpora and attended by respectable of Rajpora and adjacent areas. Meanwhile, the meeting at PS Litter was chaired by SDPO Litter Shri Nisar Ahmad-JKPS accompanied by SHO PS Litter in which unit Holders and Managing body of SIDCO Lassipora participated.

During the interaction meetings, participants raised various issues. The chairing officers assured the participants that the issues pertaining to Police department will be redressed on priority basis and the grievances pertaining to civil departments would be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal. Besides, chairing officers also assured that Police will provide its legal support as and when required for the betterment of the society.

Moreover, participants were also requested to adhere to Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) keeping in view the impending 3rd Wave and briefed about the preventive measures to contain spread of COVID-19.

The participants in these meetings assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely.
