Anantnag, Nov, 16: On Monday, a residential house was gutted in fire at Pahloo, Shangus. However, the victims were provided ration and food kits by the 19 Rashtriya Rifles, today.
The fire caused the entire ration storage in the attic of the house to damage. The family was in need of immediate help in terms of food material to sustain.
After which, the sarpanch and other prominent people of the area approached the Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Kazhwan COB.
In this regard, Major Pinaki and his company visited the victim family and distributed food to them.
Locals lauded the efforts made by the Army for helping the poor people.
