Srinagar, Nov 19 : A cop was injured after a speeding vehicle hit him in Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar outskirts.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that at a check-point in Pantha Chowk area, a cop was injured after hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle managed to flee away from spot.

Sources added that the cop Nisar Ahmed was shifted to hospital where he received treatment.

Police in this regard have registered an FIR vide number 120/2021 under section 279, 337 at Police Station Pantha Chowk against the unknown driver. (KNT)
