Anantnag: 19 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army organized an interaction programme with ex-servicemen at Dailgam COB in Anantnag district on Tuesday.
The Programme was orgainsed by Company Commander Major Harshdeep Singh.The Main objective of the event was to disseminate various welfare schemes to the veterans, their next of kin and also to address their grievances. The event saw participation by dozen of veterans hailing from adjacent areas of district. The programme contributed to ameliorating the problems faced by the veterans. It also gave a platform to express their concerns directly to the concerned officials. The ex-servicemen appreciated this initiative by Army and expressed gratitude for addressing their grievances.
