Awantipora: The cousin brother of BJP leader Mohammad Shafi Wani passed away in Pulwama district on Sunday evening.
Reports said that Rouf Ahmad Reshi, resident of Gooripora Awantipora, who got killed in a road accident at Trichal area of Pulwama, was cousin brother of BJP district vice president, Mohammad Shafi Wani.
The deceased was riding scooty, when a tipper hit him at Trichal area of Pulwama district.
He was immediately taken to District Hospital Pulwama, where he succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile, various political and social organisations have condoled the demise and prayed for the departed soul.
JK spokesperson BJP Altaf Thakur, Organising Secretary South Kashmir BJP Veer Saraf, Sajad Raina District president BJP Pulwama, and others have also condoled the demise.
