Srinagar, Dec 14: A motorcyclist was killed after being fatally hit by a speedy tipper in Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday afternoon.
A police official told GNS that one Peerzada Musadiq son of Peerzada Abdul Ahad, resident of Tujjar Sopore riding a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05K 3416 was hit by a speedy tipper bearing registration number JK02AP 7688 near MRF Tyre Shop in Model Town Sopore, resulting in on spot death of the motorcyclist.
The tipper driver however escaped even before police reached the spot, the official said.
An FIR number 296/21 under relevant sections has been registered in this regard for due proceedings, the official added. (GNS)
