Awantipora, Mar, 14: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Police Party of Police Post Reshipora headed by Chowki Officer PSI Muneer Alam arrested one drug peddlers at
Braw Bandina crossing Awantipora. The arrested drug peddlers has been identified as:
(1)Irshad Ahmad Koka S/O Bashir Ahmad Koka R/o Melhura Shopian
The drug peddler was arrested when he was moving in suspicious circumstances near Bra Bandina Crossing.
900 grams of contraband substances suspected to be charas (in shape of sticks) was recovered from the possession of arrested persons.
Case FIR Number 36/2022 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
General Public of Awantpora, Tral , Pampore and Khrew are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in neighborhood area. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt strictly under law.
