Anantnag, Apr, 02: Indian Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles Sikhli Dailgam COB organised a weapon/equipment display cum indoor game activities for School students at Dailgam Camp.
The weapon display organised by the 19 Rashtriya Rifles under the supervision of Major Harshdeep Singh and Sobedar Sarvan Singh in which a large number of school students from Lavender School took Participate.
Besides the weapons display, a stall showcasing various options for the youth to join the armed forces attracted much attention towards school students.
The students were engaged to display a small weapon for children in order to motivate them to join Indian Army.
Military display of weapons has been a methodology to install a sense of pride and faith in the custodians of national security in the heart and minds of the local populace.
Large number of School students participated include participated in Programme.
To fortify the confidence among School Children in the good intent of the
Indian Army and to motivate the youth of forward areas to join the defence services.Harshdeep singh told;
Besides this The children were acquainted with the adventure, sports indoor games include table tennis,Volley ball Badminton and other routine activities which constitute a way of life in the Indian Army.” ” The excitement and enthusiasm radiated by the children during the entire schedule was distinctly visible. Sports activities were organised to encourage the youth to direct their bubbling energies in a positive direction.
Later on School Children Thanked to 19 Rashtriya Rifles especially Major Harshdeep Singh and Sobeadar Sarwan Singhfor organising such programmes to provide platform among children and keep far from drug and anti element activities.
