Srinagar, April 23: A Pakistani militant associated with Jaish-i-Muhammad oufit has been killed in an ongoing encounter at Mirhama area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.
Quoting IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, the Kashmir Police Zone tweeted, “One Pakistani militant of outfit JeM killed. Operation in progress,”.
Earlier a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the search party, leading to an encounter.(GNS)
