Srinagar, May 28: The two militants who were killed in brief gunfight at Shattipora Bijbhera have been identified, the police said.
As per the statement issued on the behalf of IGP Kashmir, The Kashmir Police Zone tweeted, ” Killed militants identified as Ishfaq Ah Ganie R/O Chakwangund, Anantnag & Yawar Ayub Dar R/O Dogripora, Awantipora, affiliated with outfit HM. The duo were involved in several militant crimes,”.
Officials sources told GNS that Ishfaq Ahmad Ganai was active since March 2020 and Yawar Ayub Decmber 2021.(GNS)
