Kulgam, May 31: Employees from various Public offices in Kulgam , Traders association and Civil society members today held a candlelight march here at Kulgam. The march was organised against the civilian killings by terrorists in the valley and in solidarity with the victim families especially with the family of today’s Martyr lady of minority community at Gopalpora, Kulgam.
The march, which witnessed heavy participation of people including EX MP , DDC chairperson,DDCs , traders association ,Awqaf Committee etc..was held from Main Market Kulgam to Ghanta Ghar Kulgam with participants holding candles to express sympathy with the victim families over the killings.
The participants held placards demanding an end to civilian killings. The candles were lit in Kulgam to express condolence and solidarity with bereaved families. Society unequivocally condemned the gruesome killings by the Terrorists and demanded end to violence and bloodshed.
