Srinagar : Rejected by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association for several times, Mateen Teli, a youngster from Sopore area of north Kashmir named Mateen Teli, was selected as a net bowler for the England test team before their second test against the new Zealand at Trent bridge stadium.
According to media reports, Mateen bagged a couple of wickets, in which he clean bowled one of the dangerous batsmen of the era Jonny Bairstow and he took the wicket of Zak Crawley top-order batsman.
Mateen was praised by England’s coach and renowned cricketer Paul Collingwood.
